Is there room for 4 people? DD 6 DS 9 me 29 and Mom 50? We don't mind being all in the same cabin cause we will not be in there much anyway. But what is the size of the cabin?

My family of 4 was in a cat 10, and we were comfortable with the amount of room. I think the cat 12s only sleep 2-3 people, and some cat 11s don't take 4 either. The cabins that sleep 4 have a queen size bed that can be split into two twins (might be good for you and your mom), and a sofa that flips into a twin bed. A bunk bed pulls down out of the ceiling for the 4th person. You'll probably have battles between the kids for the rights to the top bunk.

The Cat 5-10 rooms are all the same size cabin. The only difference in this category range is location and window/verandah. I won't say we had room to do gymnastics or anything, but we didn't have to turn sideways to fit in either.

Enjoy!

I had a Cat 11 Inside Stateroom and absolutely LOVED it!! We had more than enough room, and were able to save money for things other than a room that I would only need to sleep in!!

Ditto. We were in a cat 11 and completely satisfied. We were only in the room to change and sleep. Anything bigger would have been a waste of money.

I am so happy to hear this! We were downgraded from a Cat 6 to a Cat 8 when we rebooked and I was a little sad :( that we wouldn't have the verandah anymore...but then a friend told me that even if it IS a romantic vacation for me and my DBF...if we spend all our time in the room? We aren't living!!

Call me crazy but I prefer the single bath to the split baths. We loved our Cat 11 stateroom, myself, DH and two kids age 6. Plenty of space for us.

Let's see if this works, this is a photo of a 3 person cat 11 (7213)... the 4 person room would simply have a pull-down bed somewhere I believe. But the physical size is the same.

If it does work, then sorry about the slightly blurry pic. If it doesn't work, then think of it as a little smaller than the size of a guest bedroom. Plenty of room nonetheless!

Right...the 4 person has a pull down bed from the ceiling, the same as any other category. We always book an 11 or 12 gty. We're pleasantly surprised if we are upgraded, but I'm very happy with the inside cabin. All you do in your room is sleep and change clothes anyhow.

We did have a balcony once. Since it was 106 degrees outside (July), we couldn't even use it! I'd prefer another cruise to a balcony!
