I didn't make any requests about the cake...except that it be chocolate with amaretto mousse filling!

i have never seen one with the green on it either. I hope this doesnt come across the wrong way but, why the green? it doesnt seem to serve a purpose unless the bride and groom just wanted it that way...

The only possible explanation I can give is that I told Rosie I wanted my bouquet to be very bright and cheery. I have no clue if that "information" somehow got translated to the pastry chef at BW or not.

If I had known they were going to add colors, I would have requested blue.

no, i just chose the cake type and the filling and they did the rest. my bouquet was ivory and light pink roses so think they try and match it to your flowers

Here's ours from our intimate vow renewal. No special requests for colors, etc. We had chocolate cake with peanut butter mousse filling.

I had no idea the different styles they do for the Intimate standard cake until I saw them all together in this thread. They are all different and all beautiful!

Hiwaygal, I can't see yours anymore, but I've seen it before and I actually like the green. I thought it was your wedding colors, which would make sense to have them on your cake. I love how they try to customize the cakes to each ceremony!

I had no idea either, until I started coming here and saw all the other cakes! My Mom & I were very impressed with the detail to my cake with the icing...never seen any thing like it! It was so much more beautiful then what they showed on the Disney Wedding Website. I haven't seen anyone else with a cake like mine so far. I was so happy with it and I still think it's one of the msot amazing designs I've ever seen because all of that was done with the icing! It actually even kinda matched my dress! I just loved it! The icing was very thick on my cake too...yummy!

those wonderful cakes are making me hungry - and I've still got another 56 pounds to lose so I can eat our cake all to myself (well, maybe Nigel could have a little bite, but he doesn't have a sweet tooth like me)!!!!!!!!

I didn't have a choice for what kinda of icing. That was just a given. The only thing I got to choose was the type of cake and what type of mousse inside the cake for the layers. I thought that's all intimate brides got to choose and pick from.
