I just have to mention something really cool Stan from STVS videography did for us. He's trying out a new thing where his wife edits footage from the ceremony during the pre-reception and they play it at the reception. He did a five minute edit of me and Jim saying our vows, complete with establishing shots at the beginning and ending, and it was just BEAUTIFUL!!
He then put it on a loop on his laptop on a table by the guestbook and guests could come watch it during the reception. I was amazed how quickly they put it together but still managed to make it beautiful! My guests thought it was really cool to be able to watch re-caps of the ceremony right afterwards too.
He then burned us a DVD of the five minute ceremony edit and dropped it off at our hotel a few days later - it was really cool of him!!
If he starts offering this option as an upgrade I would really recommend getting it - it's so nice to be able to go home with at least a few minutes of your ceremony to reminisce about before getting the final edit a few weeks later (which I can't wait to see)
I also want to mention that we upgraded our package and added the HD package (high definition), and we just played it back on our big screen HDTV and WOW!! There are absolutely no artifacts or graininess or anything, it is crystal clear and just beautiful! I am so glad we chose the HD package, I just can't get over how clear everything looks, it feels like you are right there when you watch it!
Anyway, Stan was great to work with and always seemed to be there with his camera getting the important and spontaneous things. Just thought I would add my name to the long list of Disney Brides who recommend him!
