My daughter wants to buy postcards on the ship to mail to her friends. Can we bring stamps from home, or do you have to buy stamps from St. Maarten or St. Thomas? How much is the postage if you mail it on the ship? What about if she waits till Castaway Cay???

Not sure about the other islands but I recall postage from CC was 55 cents per postcard. Pretty stamps with the ship on them too. But they take a LONG time to get back to the states!

I think you could us US stamps in St. Thomas, since it has a US Post Office, but it was more than what a regular stamp cost - something like 57 cents maybe? Anyhow, there is a post office really close in that mall next to where the ship docks in St. Thomas. Also mailed postcards from the post office in St. Marten, which was in the downtown area, but because I mailed so many, I can't tell you how much it cost...

Yes, you can use U.S. postage stamps at St Thomas and St John. Regular domestic rates.

We sent our Christmas cards from St. John last December. There is a U.S. post office to the right of the dock at St. John.
