Staggering back from Pleasure Island

Good afternoon,

We arrive in WDW on the 6th of October. My wife and I and another couple, good friends that we haven't seen in a while, are planning to have an adult "night out" at Pleasure Island one evening while we are "home". Our plan is to take the launch from OKW to DD in the evening, after the kids, all eight of them, are bedded down and the sitter has arrived. My question is how best to return to OKW at 1am or so. Do any of you have any experience with this type of situation? I was thinking of a taxi back to OKW, or do you think the Disney busses are a good idea. Thanks for any info.

Yup! My dh and I have had to stagger home on some occassions!

We've took the bus, but were the rowdious! So many times we decided to take a cab back to the room (didn't want to wait for bus ~ kills the buzz)!

One kindercare rep laughed at us, she said we looked liked we had a blast!

All that, and our son was peacefully sound asleep!

There will be a bus from Pleasure Island directly to OKW until 2:00 a.m. Have fun.

A few years back, actually it was on our honeymoon, my husband and I along with another honeymooning couple we met, took a limo back from PI when it closed. There were limos lined up in front of Planet Hollywood. My husband said the limo was very nice. I'll have to take his word fro it, as I passed out after getting in. We also detoured to Dennys and treated the limo driver to an early breakfast. We has a lot of fun, and didn't have to worry about the 4 stops preceding our stop at DL on the bus line.
