My DH and I are coming into Orlando 3 days before our stay at Disney. Our adult children will be joining us on that day. My ? is, can the 2 of us go ahead and check in for all of us to save time?

You can't check in 3 days ahead of time or are you asking about doing online check in? That will expedite some of the paperwork, but you'll still have to wait until your check in date to get your KTTW cards, etc.

On your check in date 2 of you can check in and pick up everything for your whole group.

I was surprised when I did online checkin -- it didn't really seem to save any time -- we got to POR around 12 noon and there were no lines at all. But when we went to online checkin, it seemed as if they went through all the same paperwork as a regular checkin.

Yup, same bologna regular or on line check in... Not a big time saver...

We've done it (on line ) for the past 4 trips and since I won't include a credit card during on line check in, we have to do it when we arrive but they go thru the whole speal as regular check in... No big deal but it doesn't save any time!

Actually I meant earlier in the day of arrival since we can get there earlier. But I guess you answered my question anyway and thanks!

You can check in as early as 7 am, when the computers roll over.

Then you are totally fine. Not everyone listed on the reservation has to be there in order to check in.
