Well, i have subscribed to another thread, but now i have decided to write a journal.
I have epilepsy, and was put on meds that made me gain a ton of weight. I am 5'6", and Before this medication i weighed 135.(this has only been 3 years ago) My highest weight was 238:
The doctors have put me on a new medicine, but it does not help you loose weight, nor does it make you gain weight....So loosing it will be up to me.
I had to find something that worked for ME....That was the hardest part. Now i think i found it, and for the past 3 weeks, i have lost 15 pounds (223). I am so excited.
I walk about 3 miles a day. Do situps to help the tummy/abs and tonight i might add jogging for about 10 minutes on the treadmill.
My goal is to get to 140. Still 83 pounds to go.

I did really good when going out to eat this weekend. By monday i had lost 2 pounds....But at my weigh in this am, I had lost only a total of 3 pounds. I seem to be "stuck" at this weight. It is so fustrating.
I cant believe how much better i feel. I have so much more energy....
, and after i walk i have to drink about a gallon of water; i believe the shortage of weight loss is water weight. It is so frustrating...

and my weekly weigh in. I weighed 206 this am. I knew it was not going to be good. I got NO exercise in Sun, Monday, and very little on tuesday, since i was sick. Add to that again, drinking tons of water, in this heat and humidity, i guess 2 pounds seems like a lot to loose. I dont think i am going to reach my goal of 200 by July 1St, but its ok. 



so i have a call into the doctor this am. Hoping and praying that he will just call in a script for her, since i have been to his office everyday this week. It is my first day at work this week.
