ooh all the pastel coloured candy looks lush in all the shops!! i see what you mean about the mega easter egg prices too - i have noticed a lot of easter egg baskets full of toys and a few sweets that are like $25!!!?? woah!

i go home on saturday- we are going to DHS on monday, thursday and friday i think and epcot in the evening on weds for the fireworks!

its so wierd to think that i aint even that far from you right now?

What area do you live in? How are the house prices where you are too? We saw a 1 bed apartment the other day to buy for $46k - which is mental because you cant buy a flat anywhere in UK for less than £100k!! the average price for a flat must be around £150k for a 1 bed! haha!

its so hot here - my forehead it very tanned (it was very very red the other day- i was glowing like my head was on fire aparently!) but its nice for me that its hot and maybe not to good for you!! dont change your mind about outside wedding!! hehehe!!

I know what you mean about the easter baskets, and they don't even look as good as just a simple chocolate egg! I know it's strange to think you're not far from me. I live about 40 minutes away from Disney. You can get a new 2 bedroom house for around 180 or so, of course you can get nicer ones in the 200's also. It has been very warm lately. I'm still trying to see if Ryan will move the wedding inside. I don't want to be miserable on my wedding day.

awwww she is tooo cute!! i want to squeeeeze her!! She looks like my little sister Maddison! (Wayne just saw a glance of Addison in those photos above i was looking at and he said - who is that baby!- aw she looks like Maddison!!)

Stacey- she is a model baby!! she is just perfect like a little doll!! Thats so nice she got to see Cindies!! When i met her last year i just stared in aw too!

It was so fun taking her to see Cinderella. I think she is adorable also, but I'm very biased! Your sister Maddison is going to be in your wedding right?

Oh my goodness! Addison is too cute! That is so great that you got to take her to meet Cinderella, she must have been in heaven!!

And, the camera phone is wicked funny, shes such a little grown up loL!

It cracked us up the first time she did it. One day she just took her phone and pointed it at us and said "cheese" She does it with my phone now also. She cracks me up! You only have to do something once and she picks up on it right away! 2 weeks until we meet up right!? Cant wait!

Addison is so adorable!!! What cute pictures!!! I tried to do that w/ DFs little cousin last May - we waited in line for so long that she was asleep by the time we got there and didn't even remember meeting Cinderella :'o(. I was hoping for that magical awe moment that you were sooo lucky to get!!!

You guys are so lucky that you live so close!!! I have wanted to perm move down there for sooooo long.

Along with everyone else I would love to hear more about the candy! Its such a great idea!

I love living this close by. Dreading the day I have to move! =( Thanks for the compliments. We got to toon town about 5 minutes after it opened (it opens later than the rest of the park) so we didn't have too long of a line. We only waited about 5 minutes. Now, the line for the fairies, is a different story! That one was insane, even that early in the morning!!!!

I'm hoping to go and buy some candy this week and I will post pics as soon as I can! I also plan on taking some pics of the fans this week. I'm off for spring break in 2 weeks, so I plan on working my butt off on wedding stuff that week!

We did a candy buffet at our at-home reception and it was a hit. Don't forget to wait to hit up the after Easter sales to get some bargains on the candy. We did this after Valentine's Day and ended up getting most of it at 75% off. I also bought Mickey and Minnie candy molds online and made some of our own chocolates too.

I am so happy to have found someone else having a wedding a Shades of Green. I am all the way in Texas and will not be back out there until my wedding day.
I will have a wedding there on June 16 2010.

I am going to have my reception/cake cutting in the Italian restaurant to save a few bucks. My cake will be done by Anna's Cakes and I found my dress on EBay. We will have everyone blow bubbles at the end of the ceremony. I am trying to stay cheap since travel will cost a lot. We will have our honeymoon at DW too and my son will be with us for all days but one. We figured it would be easier to get family to come to the wedding if they got a vacation out of it since they are coming from, England, Germany, CA and WA State. Now for a bunch of questions.

1. Do you happen to have pictures of the alternate place for the wedding if it rains?
2. Are you going to have decorations at the Gazebo?
3. Do you have any characters coming to your wedding?
4. How much was the harp and who did you use?

Please send some pictures after your wedding takes place. This has been a great blog!

I noticed some places already have the candy on sale for 25% off, so I might get my must haves now, so I don't miss it when they go on sale after Easter. Yay!!! Another SOG bride! I'm so excited! I don't have any pictures of the rain location, but it's decent. It's just a long hallway that leads to the banquet rooms. I will look for some pictures online, or next time I'm up there I will see if I can get some pictures of it! Can we have characters make an apperance at our wedding? I didn't know that. If so, do you know where to find the info? My harp player is Catherine Way. She quoted me $300 and later informed me that was a discounted price, she is normally $350. She is super nice though and very flexible so I'm sure you could get the $300 also! She has a website somewhere and she will mail you a sample CD and stuff. Oh, and decorations at the gazebo. I'm not 100% sure on what we are using to decorate it. It's so beautiful that we figured we won't need much! Maybe just some garlands of flowers through the top part. We thought about putting some plants on the sides. I will let you know what we decide!

I'm so excited to have another SOG bride on here! You should start a PJ also! If you have any other questions let me know and I will try my best to answer them!

Yes you can have Disney characters at your wedding. Ask Bonnie from the sales department at Shades of Green to get you that information. I think it is $500 per character and right now I am trying to see if friends or family will be kind enough to help me out on that cause it not chump change.

Addison is adorable with Cindy! My DD is 2 - just slightly older than her, and she is totally obsessed with Cinderella too! We finally took her to meet Cindy, and I cried. She was so excited and kept kissing her and touching her face! I love it! The little girls are just so sweet.

About the characters - my understanding is that as long as you are on Disney property - which SOG is - you can hire any of the characters like at a regular DFTW. I think that it costs the same though. So you're looking at $1000 for one or $1400 or something like that for 2. If you are able to afford it, I think that would be awesome to have characters at your wedding! What a way to make it even more special.

If you want, I have some candy molds I bought at Property Control, I think they may have been butter molds anyways. They make donald and goofy and tigger and an oval that says Disney and something else....

Here is a pic from last year when we made some chocolates. We ran out of chocolate and were using a halloween kit we had lying around lol. Looks like the other molds are Pooh, a circle with Mickey and two jelly bean looking ones and Eeyore

Also I had talked to Randy and we are going to be taking pictures all over. DF loves AKL so we are going to take pictures over there and at the beach at the Poly. So So So excited! And that video on You Tube made me cry the first time I watched it! I am such a girl!

That will be nice to go to AKL for some pics! If I do anything I would probably head over to the GF. My cocktail hour is from 6-7 and that would be the only time I have for pictures. She got horribly sick this weekend. Her fever was 104 on saturday and 103 on Sunday (and that was after Tylenol!) Ryan's mom came and checked her out and said she had the early stages of pneumonia. She gave her a shot of antibiotics and she has been at home with my mom the last 2 days instead of day care. She is doing better now though. Thanks for asking!

Oh No!!!! That is terrible!! I am glad she is doing better, I was at 102 for last Wednesday and Thursday with pneumonia as well... it was not fun so I cannot imagine being so little and feeling like that. Poor thing, I sure spending time with you helped her spirits though, and helped her get better

So, apparently, Ryan's mom has been talking with my mom about surprising us with a honeymoon. They have timeshares and she has been looking around for a good one. They finally decided it wasn't a good idea to surprise us but to just let us know because we were looking for a honeymoon also. So, GUESS WHAT!!!! I'm going on a honeymoon!!!! To where you ask!!??

I am so excited!!! I went through Vanessa's report again to start planning where I need to go! We are going for almost 2 weeks. the first week is at Waikiki Beach and then we are going to the island of Kauai! I'm so excited!!!!
