Proud Irish-American here.
I shall be wearing my Irish-Brigade t-shirt coupled with a Pogues jacket.
Going to Shamrock Fest (Flogging Molly ftw).
After that off to the Dubliner in D.C. then to Flannigan's in Maryland.
sounds awesome. i love flogging molly.
dropkick murphy's are playing in chicago i'd LOVE to see them on st patricks day. that would be cool.
I've had horrid luck trying to get tickets to see DKM. They sell VERY quicky.

What makes St.Patrick's day so special, besides it is a day to celebrate a Saint? What do you do to celebrate and why?
Coolio, thanks!Well, like you stated, it's in celebration of Saint Patrick. It's his feast day. So, Saint Patrick's day is a religious holiday.
Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland so it's always been big with them.
MANY Irishmen and women imigrated to the USA. That's why we have it.
Places like Boston and New York have a huge Irish population so it was celebrated by them originally. It caught on as a tradition with other ethnic groups.
I have the strongest urge to wear a shirt that says,"Kiss me,I'm one thirty second Irish"
LOL .I don't know exactly what fraction of Irish I actually am,but I am apart Irish, according to my grandma.Go ahead. One thirty second Irish is better than not being Irish at all.
