St. Louis Newbie

Hello from St. Louis. I have been pretty much lurking for a bit, with a couple posts here and there, but thought it was time to formally say Hello.

We are taking our first Disneyworld trip in the beginning of December! I can't wait. I am going crazy with everything to plan and do! I have a little princess that will be 4 by the time we go.

By the way, how do you get those tickers to work. I have tried and didnt have any luck. Maybe I am not putting it in the right area. I tried looking at the video on how to, but it would load. Any information would be great, i would love to know how much longer until we leave.

We love Disney and go any chance we get..I found these boards in 2001 when I planned our first trip...I have been on here ever since...

Try listening too the Pod cast..They are so much fun...

We are going down for a short trip Dec 7th...I can not wait too see the castle all lit up for Christmas....

Will be there for Food and Wine in October too...

You will love Disney at Christmas....:santa: I have not been at the Holiday since 2006 and never have seen the castle lights...I am most excited!:yay:

I booked us a Wishes dessert party for Wed Dec 8th...Can not wait!:goodvibes I may book us a sleigh ride at Fort Wilderness too. So what resort are you staying at? We got a 40% off code and so I booked my dream resort...The Poly...I love it and have never gotten too stay there.

Glad too see you got your ticker... Well It is hard for me too believe she is 12 years old and in JR High..Thank goodness she is still excited too go too Disney with me.... We do have so much fun together. This is my first time too stay at the Poly and I could not have done it without my 40% white rabbit code that I got in an e-mail.
I am staying at AKL in October on points I rented from a DVC member. That is a great way too save money also.
Are you doing MVMCP??? We have done it twice and it is very magical! Although our last one it poured down rain and that kind of put a damper on the fun. We were soaked. This time skipping the party and going too MK on a non party day and ending the night with the dessert party. We are also going too Epcot in December. Those are the only parks on this trip.

MVMCP - "Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party"

MNSSHP - "Mickey's Not-so-Scary Halloween Party"

You'll find that a lot of people, here like to use acronyms (normally, I keep newbies in mind and use the long form, first with all subsequent mentions in the abbreviated form).
