St. Louis area DVC meet? Any interest?

Hi fellow St. Louis area DVCers!

Just curious if any of you would be interested in having a little DVC Dis board meet at Fritz's on Cave Springs Road in St. Peters the third Sunday in May (the 16th)? Maybe around 4 p.m.?

We could talk Disney til' we're blue in the face if we want!!!

Pardon me for highjacking this thread. I am traveling to St Louis with DD and DH, and am looking for some fun things to do in late June with my DD who is 11, any suggestions?? Hope you do get to have a DIS meet, and I don't make this thread go away.

Yes. You're right.

Cave Springs Exit to Mexico Road west to left on Jungermann. Fritz's is probably a mile or so up on the left.

We're new DVC members, and in StL, but are moving the weekend of the 16th! Maybe we can take a moving break and drop in, I'm not sure how crazy it will be.

Might stop by. I know right where it is, but if you're coming from Mexico rd isn't it on the right? I work at cave Springs and I-70.

So what would we talk about? Should we bring pictures from our last trip?

Yes, Fritz's is on the right if you heading away from Mexico Road.

I think bringing photos of recent WDW vacations is a great idea!

By all means bring any kids (we've got 2 DD's--9 and 5), and if you don't that's great too. Disney-loving adults are probably the biggest kids of all!.

As for what are we gonna do...well, eat Fritz's (YUM!) and just sit around and chat with some of the "home away from home neighbors" that we talk to on the boards. And we've got a huge common interest. And when you're talking about Disney, what else is there?




The fun part will be picking each other out....so wear your Disney gear!

And sorry about the direction mess-ups.

Here's the right ones:

I-70 to Cave Springs (if you are going east on 70 you will turn right at end of ramp/if going west on 70 you will turn left and cross over highway) to Mexico Road west to a left on Jungermann and Fritz's will be ABOUT a mile down the road on your right just after a curve (set back off the road a little bit).

Our first Dis Board DVC meet was great fun!

We met Granny and his wife for the first time, as well as RuthnPaul. It was nice "talking Disney" with some people who truly get it. Though Granny...you need to buy some Disney attire!!!!


Thanks for the laughs and satisfying our Disney fix for the week!

Hopefully we can get another one together soon...in a more central St. Louis location!!!

Thanks for initiating the DVC members get together -- we had a lot of fun (although I realized later that I never got around to eating anything from Fritz's )!

Granny, hope you made the long trek back to South County safely (and, yep, Granny is a guy)! My husband still has doubts about making the trip to WDW in approx 16 hours and wants to know if he can get more information on exactly what interstates you take!

Hope that we can meet again soon and that more of the St. Louis area DVC-ers can make it this time!
