Hi All

Hope everyone's okay! :sunny:

I just have to tell everyone my good news  :cheer2: :Pinkbounc - me and DBF are off to WDW AKL in just 2 weeks time, but I have 2 younger sisters DSis14 :earsgirl: and DSis11 :earsgirl: , who have been complaining ever since I booked the holiday back in July 04, that they haven't been to WDW in such a long time and that they want to go again! ::MickeyMo They don't take after me honest!

Anyway, having had a very quiet word with my mum she has agreed that I can take them in December :cool1: but we are keeping it a secret and saying that mum can't afford it!! We aren't going to tell them till either the week or the weekend before they go! :goodvibes Now I just need to learn to keep my mouth shut :rolleyes1

So if anyone can tell me what it is likely to be like 12th December to 19th December - crowds, weather, do they still do the fireworks? etc :confused3

And any info on the WDW Wilderness Lodge would be greatly received!! Now all I need to do is start searching (again!) for the cheapest Disney Tickets that I can find!!! :cloud9:

How exciting what a lovely big sis you are! crowd wise should be fairly reasonable I think, most xmas hols won't get in until you're ready to leave, well done you!

Whilst I can understand wanting to keep it secret for a while -for us and our children - a lot of the fun is in the anticipation, looking forward to it and thinking about what you will be doing. Could you perhaps think about telling them 2/3 weeks ahead so that they at least have some fun in advance?

In answer to your other questions it should be fairly quiet that time of December but all the decorations will be up. The weather is likely to be totally unpredictable, it could be chilly or late 70's - there shouldn't be much rain though nor any hurricanes!!

Sue

Aaaaahhhhhh - what a sweet thing to do. I'll bet they'll be thrilled. :wave2:

What a lovely surprise that is going to be.
We go the 12th Dec too, hopefully will not be too bad for the crowds. Weather on the other hand as said can be so unpredictable, we are taking some warm clothing with us, just incase;)
A lovely time to go, will you be attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? More info can be found Here
Happy Planning:)

I am sure that I will enjoy it just as much as my sisters :rotfl: , but I really am worried that I will let the "cat out of the bag" :cat:

The Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party sounds fun and looks fantastic - do I have to buy seperate tickets to the normal Disney tickets to take part in it? :earboy2:

Hi, yes you do have to buy a extra ticket for this event. We have been many times and IMO is well worth it.

At the moment I think we will get the 7 Day Hopper (or whatever they are called now!!) as they are currently the same price as the 5 Day Hopper. :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Where do I buy the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party passes from?? :confused3

Oh how lovely :)

I agree with Sue though, it might be nice to tell them a little in advance so they can build up the anticipation, show off to their friends ;) and so on!
