Well, I booked our flights for our September/October trip. We were able to get two round trip airline tickets for $490. I figured with the gas prices this wasn't going to go down at all, so I grabbed it. We will fly out Thursday night, September 22, and stay at the LaQuinta on Internaional Drive on Mark's points; this way we can check in early on Friday morning and enjoy two full days at the AKL. We'll leave Marco Island and drive back to Orlando for an 11:15 a.m. flight home on Wednesday, October 5.

About a month ago we wereconsidering an early April trip. We have a lot of excess DVc points, a trip scheduled for august, we've been going in the fall for children's miracle network golf tourney. But dh has a Vegas trip planned too close to the same time. Now I'm not allowed to travel long distances for about 6 months. Our august trip is just under that 6 month mark, but they seem to be ok with our plans and told us to keep planning. So that will be my celebratory trip....especially the bonus solo days at the beginning of the trip.

Enjoy your relaxation and your Nikki time. Sounds like it's just what the dr ordered!

After I asked what KSC was and Marv responded, I realized how dumb I was. Mark's been to the KSC (and KFC ); I don't think we'll make it this trip.

We enjoy Daytona. I just wish they could build it up again after the hurricanes.

And we got DECENT flight hours...not like our April trip.

I have some cleaning to do around the house and then I hope to get an update done on our mini-Florida trip (at least a day or two) an dthen I hope to give you the final list of our ADR's for our September trip (I get to make them in a little over two weeks).

I arrive on the 3rd - the rest of them show up on the 6th. Right now, if I ride back with them we leave on the 13th. If I fly home I will leave probly the 15th at the latest. So it looks like we will just miss each other.

Yes, the beach is that close. You walk out of the hallway by the elevator and about 50 feet and you are on the beach.

Molly, hope you get another chance to see Reba. She really is fabulous.

Busy weekend of cleaning, driving into city to go to our favorite butcher, etc.

Well, I have my "final" list ready for our ADR making day (a week from Tuesday). I'm pretty well set on these and don't anticipate any changes (although I've said that before). So here's the list:

Friday (September 23), dinner at Fulton's (pay out of pocket)
Saturday (September 24) breakfast at Boma, late lunch at Earl of Sandwich (both out of pocket)

Sunday, September 25) (and now on the dining plan) -- breakfast at the Crystal Palace at 8:05 a.m. with MaryAz and all of her family and dinner at The Plaza

Monday, September 26 lunch at Yak & Yeti

Tuesday, September 27 we are just doing counter service for all of our meals

Wednesday, September 28 early lunch at Sci Fi. We are debating doing dinner at Grand Floridian Cafe or Captain's Grill (if we do decide to do one of these, then we will pay for Plaza out of pocket on Sunday)

Thursday, September 29 is our departure morning for Marco Island and we will have breakfast at Kona before the three hour drive and pay out of pocket
