Yay! A trip away to Florida AND you get to see Nicki too! Sounds like just what the doctor ordered Kathy. Wow, that's only about 3 1/2 weeks away!! I'm sure this will be a welcomed distraction from all the stress of these last few weeks. Are you and Nicki planning to pop into Disney at all?? Or is Naples too far away? I don't know Florida geography too well!

Thank you, Molly. Yes, the doctor told me last month at my check-up that I was too stressed and needed to relax. What better way than going to Florida.

No, we won't be doing Disney at all...too much traveling with Mark for work. But the last three nights will be in Naples and dinner with Nicki and Todd--ALL THREE NIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you! Yes, in 24 days, I'll be boarding a plane at the ungodly hour of 6:00 a.m., but I will be in Florida three hours later...so no complaints.

Well, we've almost got all of the plans settled for our trip three weeks from this Saturday (I can't believe in three weeks I'll be in Florida!).

We hae a 6 a.m. flight. YES, I said a 6 a.m. flight; this means we iwll leave the house at 3:40 a.m. to get to the airport. The only good thing about this is that with my fear of flying, I should be able to sleep during the flight (especially since Starbucks probably won't be open at the airport at that hour). We land in Jacksonville around 9:15 a.m. and will pick up the rental car for the week. We are thinking that since it is only a two-hour drive to Valdosta, Georgia, where Mark will meet with his first customer on Sunday morning that we might go to the Jacksonville Zoo for a couple of hours and then head to the hotel (we have a room at a Hampton Inn & Suites) and swim for awhile before dinner and I'm sure a very early bedtime having been up since 2:40 a.m. to leave by 3:40 a.m.. So that will be day one (Saturday, April 2).

My mom has had some health issues, and also recently lost a dear friend, so we want to go on this trip and enjoy life and being together). I will look forward to hearing about your trip!

I love the 6am flight for the exact same reason as you...I always sleep and then it's over...love it

Jasmine did love leaving at noon though to go on their last flight....so we'll see what flights we get in August...it will be whatever airline is cheapest....they are brutal right now from Winnipeg

Thank you. It is going to be a busy week with Mark seeing customers and a lot of driving; but as it looks now, we'll have three days in Naples with just relaxing by the pool (and me and Nicki shopping).

My brother is doing better. All stitches and draining tubs have been removed. He's still a little sore and still cannot lift anything over five pounds for five more weeks, but he is back to walking and we will leave him our car while we are gone and he'll take care of our dog for us.

No extra $$$, no problem -- just have Kathy buy the lottory tix, then when she wins big, you two will be good to go!
