We were in "The Springs section". In this cropped map picture we were located in the lower left corner of the building that houses rooms 3501 ~ 3836. We were on the second floor.

The location was excellent! I'd say the walk to the pool was only about 50 yards and just on the other side of the pool is the main building for the entire resort. The bus stop was located between the building and the pool. Even with being that close to all the action, there never seemed to be any unusually high noise levels.

We gave it two thumbs up!

WE LOVE SSR!!! We have taken two trips and stayed in Grandstand first then Congress Park. Both sections have reasons to love them. CP has the DTD views and walkway which was perfect for DH and me. At the Grandstand, we had a 2BR - WOW - and had a very short walk to its own pool and not much further to the main area. Also, it has the first on-first off bus stop which is wonderful when traveling with kids.

Overall this resort is simply breathtaking. The grounds are pristine with wildlife frolicing about to and fro, gorgeous views of DTD/the golf course/lakes with fountains/pools. . . AAAHHHH!! I can't wait until November when we return.

I get to check it out in December!

Do all the buildings have elevators....something I'll need to know for making room location request (we have a 2 bedroom if that matters).
