SSR - Transportation to get Groceries?

We're flying into Orlando. What's the best way to get groceries? Taxi? Bus? Walk? Any advice appreciated

Some DVC'rs send themselves staples in the mail. We are Floridians who drive in so we shop at Winn Dixie which is closest to SSR & OKW, it's a left at Cross Roads and about 1 mile down on the right hand side. There's also a liquor store and Papa Johns Pizza in the same plaza and A Walgreens/CVS? on the opposite side of the road. If you do not have a car you can shop online at GardenGrocer.com and they deliver to the resorts. They have a nice selection and their produce is fresh. I've used them twice and was very happy with the results, otherwise we usually drive to get groceries.

We took a taxi from SSR last time to Winn Dixie & it was only $20 round trip. We prefer to do the shopping ourselves, so we can "see" what is available for ready made foods, beer, etc. Plus they have a lot of less expensive than WDW souvenir items.

The first day we're doing the meal plan then splitting to two nights at SSR

Prices are a bit high but I figure i can take then non-perishables home. I'm sure my husband will be thankful he doesn't have to go out to shop since it's a very short vacation.

We have used www.wegoshop.com 5 times in the past and been very pleased with them. We are using them on our next trip home. We don't "cook" on vacation, but we buy breakfast foods, juices, coffee, water, beer, wine, cheese and crackers and snacks.
I like being able to list the brands and sizes I want vs. picking off of a list like at Garden Grocer. Also wegoshop does not have a minimum delivery charge. Their cost is the cost of the groceries plus a delivery charge. On our trip last October the delivery charge was $17. They give you a 30 minute delivery window, vs the 2 hour delivery window of Garden Grocer. They have always been right on time. Garden Grocer marks up the cost of the groceries a bit, but has a lower delivery fee. We go shop lets you pick the store you want them to shop at, includiing Sam's Club if that works for you.
We have been very satisfied in working with Marge Peck the owner of wegoshop and we recommend them to our friends.
OT a bit, finchfamily4 why wouldn't you give the delivery person a gratuity?
We always tip the delivery person on top of the delivery fee.
We feel we save the delivery fee and tip over the cost of shopping in the Disney stores and we love the convenience.
