Any confirmation on this? A dvc cm that we see frequently told us that SSR is officially sold out that they are only selling AK. There are even spiffy new DVC AK stickers being given out at the kiosks.

I hadn't heard anything official about that, though have been rumors online for sometime that it would sell out by the end of the summer. Amazing.

Yes SSR is sold out. A CM at the DVC booth at the Boardwalk confirmed it yesterday. However, not to worry, there were about 75units up for resale already. He also advised that at this point that big building going up next to the contemporary is rumored to be a Super Walmart!! I went by it and it seems they are at the top floor now.

There are 8 different Use Years for each resort. Given that DVC will only sell add-on points that match your Use year, tracking inventory becomes very, very important as they enter the final stages.

I don't believe that they have sold out of every Use Year, but they are not actively soliciting sales due to the low point levels. When dealing directly with a Guide, they they can check inventory and confirm whether or not the points are available.

We just got back from HHI today. We struck up a conversation with a CM (Mike) at the pool one morning as he was hosing the pool deck. We told him that SSR was our home resort. He told us that it just sold out. In fact, he said the CMs at HHI just had a party to celebrate it earlier this week.

If I recall correctly, Mike said that it sold out late last week.

It would certainly be good timing for an annoucement at BLT in the next 10 days or so. ;)

We just got back from WDW today and hadn't heard if SSR was sold out, but if is, that is good to know.

As for the new Contemporary building, I would agree that they are on the top floor. That floor appears to be set up differently than the others. I think that the divisions of the units and the height of the units appear to be possible grand villas. Although when I asked a CM about DVC at the Contemporary, she just smiled and didn't confirm anything.
