What do you want?
If you want the chance for a great view of DTD from your balcony and the shortest walk to DTD, request Congress Park.
If you want to be the closest you can be to the store, restaurants, original main pool, boat dock, pick Springs (but this will be the last bus stop out of 5 and the buses are sometimes crowded).
If you want to be the first stop on the bus route, pick Grandstand.
If you want to be near the brand new themed pool, pick Paddock.
The only section I have not stayed in is Carousel so I can't tell you what may be worth requesting in that section.
We used to like Paddock the best but now it's Congress Park since Paddock added the theme pool. Congress Park has a nice quiet pool that we enjoy. The resort seems so large but honestly, we have walked all over it and it's not more than a 7 minute walk from any section to get to the spa/restaurants/store/etc.
If it's not a busy time, we also enjoy Springs. But staying in Springs when it's busy vs not busy is night and day with noise level from the balcony (we spend a lot of time on our balcony) and the the crowds at that bus stop.
Grandstand also has a nice kiddie play area if that is something that interests you.
