Has anyone actually seen their recorded deed yet or got anything that showed that their contract was officially closed? Not me yet.

Talked to MS this morning and they said that my paperwork for the closing was in the mail. So I guess we are really official! Yeah! Now we have to pay for dues! Boo! But hey how else would they keep these places looking so nice!

based on what happened with BCV, you will see resales begin to show up in 3 to 6 months and after pricing promotions are gone. there are always people who will buy, take one trip and decide it wasn't for them. they will put their resale up for nearly the same price as what they paid and is currently being charged by DVC and they can actually make out ok when someone offers less because they took the discount by selling back points. however, don't expect to get a big discount by buying SSR through resale - there will be plenty available from DVC for quite some time.

There was actually one BCV resale available before the resort officially opened. I don't recall any specifics but it struck me as very odd.
