SSR Preferred View Studio

DD and I are visiting 5/12 - 5/16. We have a preferred view ressie, but is there any particular area we should ask for? I totally understand this is an ask only. Is there a fax number for SSR and how many days in advance is recommended to send a note.

It's really "preferred location" rather than view.

You want to be near DS or main building? Those are really you options.

Congress Park is closer to DS and The Springs is closer to main building. Just ask MS to add the request to which section. Both are renovated so you will get a new room regardless!

Isn’t The Springs bus stop the last of the route? If so - and you plan on using the buses - you might want to take that into consideration

I did request a view of Disney Springs in the CP section, and got it once!

Your “preferred” reservation means that you will be in one of two sections: Congress Park or The Springs. Request Congress Park if you want to walk to Disney Springs for shops and restaurants, or request The Springs if you want to be near the main feature pool and the SSR check in lobby and quick service food. I’ve always called DVC to put in my request as soon as I make the online reservation. I’ve never faxed a request.

No faxes. If you booked using your own points, contact MS (email or chat or call) with your request. If you booked using another member's points, they need to make your request. If you booked for cash, call Disney Reservation Center to make a request.
