We are thinking of buying into DVC but not really sure which is better :confused3 . I love the way they both look with the WLV looking better and the extra time at SSR is good but that really isn't a consideration. I am just wondering what the maintenace fees are like at either. We are looking at purchasing 210-230 points. Does anyone know what the MF are for either or where I can find them. Thanks :)

Annual dues for 2006 at each resort are as follows:

Saratoga Springs $3.98
Old Key West $4.24
Hilton Head Island $4.34
Beach Club Villas $4.48
Wilderness Lodge $4.61
Boardwalk Villas $4.69
Vero Beach $5.27

Best wishes as you make your decision!

Bobbi :)

Also remember that your points go farther at SSR. We own at SSR and want to add on at VWL. Remember, you can always add on later.

As long as you will be happy to stay at SSR if the VWL is not available, you might want to purchase at SSR for the lower dues and longer contract.

If you have your "heart set" on staying mostly at VWL, I agree with many people here that you would want to buy VWL points. VWL is the smallest DVC resort at WDW, and can be tough to book without home advantage during some of the popular DVC seasons such as the Christmas holidays.
