SSR or POFQ?

My DF of 6 will be heading to the world at the beginning of August (1-6). We have reservations at POFQ for 2 rooms with the AP discount. I have been looking at the posts here and wondering if I should try to switch to the SSR- 2 bedroom villa? Does anyone have any suggestions or comments? Thanks in advance for your help.

I think you will pay considerably more for a SSR 2 bedroom villa. I will say though that I stayed in one in April and it was lovely and wonderful. We loved all the space.

The 2 bedrooms will be much pricier. You could get a cabin, but you might be fine with the 2 rooms.

As the PP indicated you will probably pay more at SSR, I think it depends on you plans, SSR is quite a bit further away from MK, and the resort is HUGE, although it is gorgeous, we were there in December and very much enjoyed its proximity to DTD, we walked there every a.m. and p.m., we just got back from a week @ POFQ, this resort is soooo much smaller than SSR, that alone would sometimes win for us, especially if it is during really hazy, hot and humid weather.
Whichever you choose, hey, it's Disney, so it will be amazing
