SSR on NYE: Fireworks

We will be down for NYE this year and we are staying at SSR. We'll have our 1 y.o. with us, and will not be in the parks at midnight. Howev, does anyone know what fireworks we could see from SSR? Does DTD have fireworks?

I believe they do. You can go to the sidewalk along the water at SSR and view them easily.

The fireworks at Downtown Disney were actually at Pleasure Island (yes, even though Disney stopped doing them every night, they still occurred on New Year's Eve). With PI now closed, there is no guarantee that there will be fireworks in that area this year. Keep watching the DIS main page (www.disboards.com) for updated information.

Thanks for your help. I wonder if anyone who's stayed there knows which park fireworks are easy to see from SSR.
