SSR Monkey Trip Report

Lovin' your TR SSRMonkey! It looks like you had a great time! Makes me wish we were home too! Only 82 more days!! Can't wait to read more! popcorn::

Today was another jam-packed day. Grandma and Grandpa checked out of SSR because we couldn't get them a room for Friday night. :sad1: They are saying at one of the hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd tonight. I'm sure it won't be as great as SSR, but at least they are close.

We started out at MK. We rode the ferry over to get a different perspective than the monorail. It was nice and the day started out a little cooler. We first went to the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. I LOVE treehouses and this was the coolest one I've ever seen! Multiple levels complete with bananas...B-A-N-A-N-A-S! (Gwen Stefani helped me learn how to spell that.)

I liked the nice view from here.

I got lost for a bit, but the map helped me find my way!

After that we went to Pirates again. Isn't the resemblance between me and Johnny Depp astounding? I just need some black eyeliner...and the black spot on my paw.

We rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and saw a hoedown in the street. Some of those bears in Adventureland are a little creepy. Then I found this really cool bell. I tried to ring it and it cracked...oops!

After a ride on the Haunted Mansion and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs we headed over to Epcot.

On the way in, I stopped for a kiss from Daisy Duck.

On the way to lunch at The Land, Grandma and Grandpa did the short demo on the Segways. They really liked that although Grandma almost ran over the helper. Then we ate at The Land and got FP for Soarin for the evening. We hit up Nemo and checked out the manatees. Those things are huge and apparently they really like lettuce. Maybe they should be called bunnytees.

It was time for Grandma and Grandpa to check in at their hotel and we were all pretty hot and tired, so we left Epcot. They checked in and Mom and Dad and I went for one last dip in the pool. Unfortunately the frogs were turned off so I couldn't spray water all over the place. (Kids-if you put your hand in the stream of water you can spray really far...try it on your parents who are trying not to get their hair wet. Heeheehee!)

Then it was back to DD for dinner. Grandma and Grandpa went back to the Earl of Sandwich because they liked it so much. We headed to Wetzel's Pretzels for one last pretzel. I got the pepperoni pizza one. Yummy!

I had finally convinced Mom and Dad to let me ride on the balloon and wouldn't you know it? It was closed because it was too windy. This is as close as I got.

We headed back to Epcot to use the FP for Soarin. After that we split up with Grandma and Grandpa. They wanted to go back to see some things at the World Showcase and we wanted to be sure to fit in another ride on Test Track. But first, we rode the Figment ride one last time. He decided to come home with me.

I also got to take a trip to space. Well, at least play in space. The ride makes me vomit...even the version for wimps. Yeah, simulators are not my thing. But look at my cool new hat! I wonder if it would really work in space. I'll find out when Koala and I finish our spaceship we're building in the backyard.

We rode Test Track and watched the fountain one last time and headed out. I was sad to leave and even more sad that we are heading home in the morning, but the cool thing is I know I will be back soon. I'm sure Chloe the evil cat will keep me occupied until my next visit. Hope you all enjoyed my trip report. Until the next time: SSRmonkey-Out! (Thanks Ryan Secrest!)
