SSR in December 04!

Today I made our first DVC reservation for a 1BR at SSR! On Monday I'll add three additional nights. It is very exciting to have a real reservation! I'd like to again thank everyone on this board for the help in deciding to buy and the number of points to buy and for those that have posted pictures. Without you we would really be in the dark! Christmas is our favorite time of the year to visit WDW and now we own a piece of it! We haven't been able to go for the past two years because we were in the process of adopting a baby in '02 and this year we moved on December 19th! It's been worth the wait and I can't wait to show my 2 year old son the wonderful world of Disney in '04!

I am just itching to call MS for my Dec 04 reservation at SSR. I hope to book for 12/5 - 12/15. I'm going to start calling on 1/6 and do a day by day reservation, just to make sure I can get the reservation.

We are also SSR owners. We plan on going to SSR during the second week in Dec. By the way we also adopted our little girl in 2000. She is from Korea. Was your son a domestic or international adoption ?

Our adoption was international. Matthew is from St. Petersburg, Russia. He is an amazing joy and we have been blessed to have him in our family!

We are doing a day by day, but with the weekend, we'll get it done in two calls! We had a hard time deciding between 1st or 2nd week, but decided on 1st -- hoping for fewer crowds. Can't wait to see our new resort. It has been fun getting to know the neighbors!
