SSR Hot Tub(s)?

There sure is
When I was there in April, I had a 1st floor room in CP, just a hop skip and a jump from the hot tub, it was right outside my patio! Great way to start a day!

We are at SSR right now. Spent some time last night at the quiet pool and hot tub. It was great. The view is great from the quiet pool and there are not that many people there. There is also a playground just across from the pool.

The Congress Park hot tub is really nice before 8am. No one is there, no kids and it is usually cool enough where the hot tub is really comfortable. You also have a great view of DTD.

While we were there in June, we enjoyed the hot tub Saturday at midnight. The P.I. fireworks were great, right overhead. The only problem was a bit of ash and foil floating down. Fantastic view.

Fardwarker, Are you referring to the Special Fireworks they had at PI in June? I know those were directly over the CP pool and plenty of them! The nightly fireworks are less than 20 seconds and are closer to PI.

Just wondering if you were there when we were June 12-25th.

If you really want some privacy and the hot tub to yourself (most of the time) go over to the quiet pool in The Paddock (you can cross that water bridge). We went there several times from 6pm and later. There wasn't many people there during the day either. Most evenings we had the pool and hot tubs to ourselves for over an hour! Even my 9 yo DD liked it. She liked the main pool too, but this pool she could have to herself mostly. The Paddock just opened not too long ago and they still have a building or two to open yet.

Yes we were there from June 10-19th. After reading on the boards about how well the SSR walls keep out fireworks noise, I was shocked that 1st Saturday night. It was very loud and very long. The rest of the week I never heard much out of them, but we made sure we were at the CP quiet pool the 2nd Saturday. It was a great fireworks show.

Why did they have those special fireworks anyway? I was there too and I watched them from my window. I was so excited that the next night I drug DH over there to see them and the piddly little fireworks were back.

Those fireworks sure are piddly!! Aren't they!!

DH & I waited up till midnight for them last November. We were sooo excited. We get out to the pool area at CP expecting crowds, and no one is there. Strange, we thought. Well, hey, we can get those rockers overlooking DTD...thought that would be great too.

Then the show began.... They were AWFUL. No wonder there wasn't anyone there!! We laughed our way back to our room.
