That's wild that they are considering it a special offer. I was thinking $150/pp would be "special" even though that is still a lot higher than what most people here would pay.

Not surprising, last time SSR went on incentive it didnt do great. I think they thought it would due the popularity of the OKW sale.

IDK what they were thinking. OKW you could get down under $100 per point for that firesale

With this SSR "deal" you can get SSR, with a shorter expiration date, for around $100 more per point than they sold OKW for, and get booking window advantage at SSR, which usually books up last after even OKW. It's a worse deal all around! (besides dues I guess)

Yeah I remember my guide calling me after I had tried to buy OKW and it has sold out. He was like well OKW didnt come back but SSR is available in a very excited tone! He really thought I was gonna be happy with that.

I've been tracking it because im in ROFR and paranoid, but it's doing bad, so im happy so far .

They had another incentive for it along with AKV in February of this year and during that round they sold 14 SSR contracts and only 5 AKV contracts which is my theory of why they may have stopped ROFRing AKV.

They had more success when testing the waters with SSR on that round and the incentive was only available for a very limited time, less than a month. So now they only put SSR back until the July incentive round is up and no contracts have been ROFR'ed so they really should put out something better!

Even better than that if you wanted a ton of points.

OKW got down to $95 per point after MB last spring if you bought 1000 points. $105 if you got 500 and $115 for 300

That’s right! Lol. Toward the end of the cycle they limited OKW to 299 points, basically eliminating any of the 300+ point incentives.

That OKW direct was pretty crazy though - close in price to what extended resale was going for at the time.
