SSR Check-In?

We will be in WDW at SSR 2 weeks from tonight. Question is my mother-in-law is going will she be able to pay for her tickets and meal plan and I can pay the rest at check-in? DH and I got APs since we are going down again in december so we will have to pay for our meal plan, DS will need tickets and meal Plan, and DD is 22 months so won't need to pay for anything. So does it work like a store with Mother-in-Law paying her $400(made up number not sure real cost right now.) and I can pay the rest or not? Help.

Tickets are not tied to room accommodations with DVC so tickets can be purchased by anyone.

The meal plan will have to be paid in full at check in. As long as you all check in together, then mom can pay for hers with her own credit card then. If she checks in before everyone else, then she would have to pay for all the meal plans at that time.

We are all checking in together. So when they total the amount will she be able to pay a portion of the bill and I pay the rest? Kind of like if you are at a store and you pay for some of the total in cash and the rest on a credit card?

Yes, we split the bill between my dad's credit card and cash.
