SSR and use years?

Can anyone explain what would happen with points, dues and payments if I currently have a December use year at BCV and add on at SSR using the $10 credit?
There have been threads regarding when you'd get your points and when dues and payments would begin, but I'm confused about what woudl happen with my December use year?
What would be the time table for those things for us?
And would they even sell a December use year yet or is it only a certain month now?
Final date to buy with incentives before SSR opens?

Extrapolating from BCV presales!!! You'd get your use year and points from then. Dues would be due from the official closing date or signing depending on when you buy OR from the first day or your use year, which ever is later. You would not get 2003 points but would get 2004 starting with your use year even if before actual opening of the resort. So they would sell you Dec 2004 and yo could borrow from the points if you needed. You would not get Dec 2003 points. I don't think expiration on the incentives has been announced.

That would be incorrect. I just bought my 100 point add-on at SSR and I do get 2003 points. There is only a limited amount of December use year points available right now. After this limited amount is gone, buyers will have to wait a while until they go on sale again. I got the $10 per point credit for the points that I just bought. We can book our first trip on January 2nd for anytime after May 1st or May15th (whichever is opening day). If you finance it, you don't have to make payments until May 2004, but you will get your points in December!!! I did not ask about the incentives expiration. I hope that this helps.

That would be different than those that bought BCV who had to wait until the last of the year to get their points. Glad it's working out for you.

It is different than BCV. Our guide told us that they have never done anything like this one before and people are a little confused. I can understand that after hearing all the stuff on the boards confusing people even more. We are quite happy tonight about the deal that we got. Still wish it was $60/pt though.

maybe it is worth the $1 in long distance charges to pick up the phone and call your guide to get the correct answers to your questions?
