SSR Add-On Question

DH and I are considering doing the SSR add-on offer. We currently have an April use year. If we bought the add-on next week, when would those points be available to us? Would we have them in 2005 or would we have to wait until 2006?

Also, just to confirm my understanding of the terms of the deal--points are $87 ($95 - $8 discount) and we will receive a one time allotment of 100 developers points. DVC covers the maintenance for 2005 for the add-on points and the developers points. Is that correct?

When you call in to express your interest in adding on, they will tell you which month your use year would be (or whatever months are available).

My understanding of the latest offer is not that you are purchasing points for $87/point, but that $8/per point ($960 for 120 points) will be put towards interest expense. Thus, if you are financing on your own or outside DVD, then you do not get that perk.

I may be totally reading it wrong, but that is what I got when it said toward "interest" expense.

It's a toughie - I know that we are thinking about it, but may just wait to see what they do with the Contamporary.

You should get the add-on points now, as part of your 2005 Use Year.

The $8/point discount is applied to your downpayment, not interest.
