I know this has been discussed before but I just wanted opinions on our situation: I currentky have 2, dedicated 2 bdrms booked at SSR. There will be 2 young adults, (21-33, of the same sex) using each 2nd bedroom. My questions are: should I opt for the lock-off so that they have their own entrance, and how comfortable are the sleep-sofas at SSR? I took dedicated initially to give each of them a queen bed, but am thinking about changing it. Also, they get their own balcony right?

Also, can I be SURE I'll get 2 lock-offs, if I change now ( booked, 12/3-12/8).

Thanks, Bob & Debbie

Personally, I would have my doubts that you will be able to change this late in the game, as lock-offs require that both a one bedroom and studio be available for the length of your trip and early December is a popular DVC time. Plus I think they'd be more comfortable having real beds instead of sleeper sofas. I think in the future, if traveling with a similar group, you may be more comfortable in lock-offs at OKW, as you have the advantages of the seoeate entrance AND 2 queen beds, as all OKW studios have two beds and no sleeper sofa.

People here do think the sofa beds at SSR are comfortable, however, I would have done as you did, booked the dedicated. I know that DH and I do want a regular bed, and we assume our guests do too, but you can always ask, and then ask MS to see what's available, if you guessed wrong.

In our VWL dedicated 2 bedroom, there was a balcony for the "2nd bedroom" part, but the master bedroom didn't have an entrance to the balcony.

Taking into consideration the separate entrance and balcony I think the lockoff is a must for people that are not immediate familiy...everyone needs their own space and time.

When we took my dad I think he enjoyed his own balcony and entance.
