I have taken several SR surveys over the past few days without a problem but today when I clicked on the banner I was told in order to complete the survey I needed to enable my cookies. I followed the directions to enable but to no avail. I continue to receive the same message. What could be wrong...

Sorry you're having the same problem but I guess I'm glad I'm not alone! My husband has been "troubleshooting" for several hours and the cookies are definitely ENABLED! No idea what could be wrong...

Some people were having this issue a few weeks ago. Have you installed the Daylight Saving Time Patch from Microsoft? That is what fixed it for everyone else.

Thanks again..... Next stupid question.... How do I install it. I've been to the Microsoft page and can't seem to find it...

Okay... tried to download but it said I didn't need the download...:confused3 still can't get into any survey. There goes my dream of Disney dollars before my next trip! :sad1:

hmm. i'm not really sure since I use my work laptop and it was automatically installed on me. If you look back a page or 2 tops you might be able to find the topic where people were talking about having issues and how they fixed it.

Any luck today? It's still telling me cookies are disabled even though they aren't. :headache:

I am back on..... :thumbsup2 Yesterday my husband noticed the time on the computer was an hour off and he changed it back to the correct time. Apparently that is what knocked me off of the surveys. He set it back to the "wrong" time this morning and now I'm back in business! I'm still not able to download the Daylight Savings patch though. But given a choice of the correct time or earning Disney Dollars.... there really is no choice:rotfl:

What time zone should it be set at then? I'm in EST and my computer time is correct. Wonder if it should be in a different time zone?

I also get the cookies disabled message when I know they are enabled. Changing the time doesn't do anything. If anyone figures out the trick, please post it here!! I sure hate missing out on survey credits. :sad2:

i was having the same problem...i tried for 3 days and kept getting the 'enable cookies' error even though i knew everything was set...even reset the clock, date etc...i doublechecked all the settings (if you are using ie6 make sure the privacy tab is on medium (under internet*tools*security) & that the computer is set to accept cookies (under internet*tools*privacy*click on boxes to accept cookies) and kept restarting my computer...then we had a wicked storm and we lost power for most of the day. When the power came back up, i logged on and everything worked fine!:confused3 Maybe try shutting the power off rather than just restarting?I am not sure if that did the trick, but maybe?:goodvibes

I was having the same problem a few weeks ago. I just went in and cleared all my cookies. Everything is working fine now. Maybe that will work.

I can do surveys now. I think disconnecting power might be the trick. They were replacing wires out here today and had to turn the power off to my home for an hour or so. I remembered someone said they had luck after a power outage, so I thought I'd try after my power came back on. It worked!:thumbsup2
