we are praying for that as well...thanks.Of course prayers are headed your way. Wishing the best for him, and hoping the joy his new granddaughter will give him a boost of health for his mind, body and spirit.
thank you very much, it is a tough time, but it will make us all stronger in the end.Prayers sent. Wishing Candi's grandpa gets well enough to come home, meet his new gr. granddaughter and hold her on Christmas. For Candi and the rest of your/her family to be strong and positive in these sad times and enjoy life and the new life of your daughter.
that was how it was with my grandpa, toward the begining of the pregancy is when we found out he was sick and passed away...it sure has been an emotional up and down for both sides of hte families this last year.So sorry to hear about Candi's grandfather-I know what a bittersweet time that is-My MIL was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor a week after we told everyone we were expecting our first son. My heart goes out to all of you.
Dan, your grandfather, and whole family for that matter, are in our thoughts and prayers.
I remember my grandmother saying things like that also. My senior year, I made a cedar chest in woodshop....when she saw it, she called it her casket. That sure didn't make me feel good, but then again, I wasn't the one facing what it was like to get old. I think it's just human nature.
thanks, in talking with her parents it seems as though he has made peace with it...and is ready for what is ahead...Dan,
You whole family is in my prayers. Sounds like Candi's GF is making the most of what time he has left. Hard to hear his " last time" comments from him but hopefully in some way it comforts him.
Hope he gets well enough to meet and hold his GGD and make some memories for all.![]()
