Chapter 39. BB day
well i was off by one chapter but went back and changed it.
When my parents dropped parker off, we took him to eat right away as we knew he would be hungry and also if he started to play he would not want to stop to eat in an hour...so we grapped some lunch.
Lesson learned:
on the dining plan, they usually always just give you the medium drink, well you can ask for the large, and there is no charge, at least when we were there, but if you get thirsty and do drink alot, dont be shy and ask for the big size...of course also ask if there is any extra charge but there should not be.
afterwards we headed to the kid area, and just had a good time relaxing in the shallow water, and letting parker run around and play on the alligator items.
a few pics for your viewing pleasure.
he loved these things, someof the spit water and he would turn them so they would spray other people, pretty funny and he is learning young.
we then went over to the area where they have the triple slide. and he had a good time running around there and going down, must have made at least 20 trips around to go down, which is no short distance, it is about a 1 minute walk around and up the ramp for his little legs.
we played for a little longer, and then we went on the family tube ride, the line for the chair lift was getting long, so we walked up...which the concret was getting hot so i carried parker, which was a chore in itself, being many many steps, as well as trying to walk quickly because it was even burning our feet some walking up the stairs.
he had a ball, he sits nestled in my side with my arm around him, and he was cracking up the whole way...we asked if he wanted to go again or hit the kid area again, and he chose the kid area...since he could go down the slides on his own.
afterwards we hit the bus to come back to the camper to get ready for dinner.
he almost fell asleep this time but didnt get knocked all the way out.
what were the parental units doing at this time, well they drove over to coronado springs resort to have a little lunch.
coming up in the next chapter, what happens that causes my dad to say that we may have to head home a day early, and leave tomorrow.
now i guess you guys are wondering about some certain news i was talking about the other day, well...here we go...now dont scroll down and ruin it if you like to read back stories first...
we had the ultra sound on wednesday. and let me tell you parker hates when candi gets on the table to get checked out...even her sitting up there he hates...so needless to say when she got there at 12:26 and went back for her ultra sound and i got there at 12:31 it was the longest 5 minutes that she can remember in a long time.
parker went hysterical as soon as the door was closed, he was crying so hard that i could hear him in the front of the office when i walked in. the lady asked who i was here for and i said Im with the crying noise you hear.
when she walked me back to the room, the nurse knocked, and the ultrasound tech was not coming to open the door...i said she prob cant hear you over him, but for privacy rules they cant just open the door. so after what seemed like the longest wait she finally opened the door and i got in there...it took me about 10 minutes to calm parker down, he had his head buried in my shoulder as i was holding him.
candi told me after the ultrasound tech, was freaking out, saying that she doesnt know if she can do it with him in there acting like that, and she was going to have to take him out to stay with the nurses.
and that she hoped that her husband (me) got there soon so she can do her job (needless to say she was a little grumpy, good thing we dont have to deal with her but one time during the labor, the rest is with her doctor)
are you serious lady, you took her in early for the visit, and i was 1 minute late, parker just has something where he hates doctor offices, and he things that they are hurting her when they put her up there...we do our best to talk to him about it before we go, and he always seems okay and understands that nothing bad is happening, but then he freaks out...he just started to like wearing band aids, in the past, he would cry harder for a band aid than what caused the boo boo.
yes i just said boo boo.
so anyway, the tech proceds with the ultrasound as i calm parker down, taking pics of everything and measuring everything, every 5 minutes she tries to get a clear shot of the gender without any luck.
we are at about 15 minutes into the ultrasound when she starts to have candi flip from side to side, to try and get the legs open. nothing is working legs are still crossed, and candi said must be a girl, she is being modest and keeping them closed.
at about the 20 minute mark, she trys again, and says.
ITS A GIRL!!!!!
candi threw her arms up like a NFL ref, for an extra point and yelled YES.
i quickly got up to look closer on the screen where she froze it, and sure enough it was a little princess....we both started to shed a tear, her more than me.....
and the tech printed off a series of pics for us.
she then explained everything to us on the pictures to tell others.
we are very excited, and candi is so excited to find little girl clothes....she said she cant wait to start buying every disney princess dress for her to wear.
so for those of you who wanted the game, i am sorry, for those that wanted to know, i hope you enjoyed the story.
i really enjoy giving candi a hug and asking her how my GIRLS are doing....i am so excited to holder her,
parker is already calling her sissy.
