When the Food&Wine Festival Food List comes out, I will definitely recommend some things for you! We love F&W, I have eaten almost everything that they offer! It is such a great time of year to be at EPCOT!

Lesigh, I think I will need to do a World Showcase must eats list all on its own with Food & Wine. Its just too hard to not have a list! lol Looking forward to what you recommend!

Got some Mickey mail this week! The Disney ticket I ordered using our Airmiles arrived! Yay! It's a Mickey Mouse so it goes nicely with the Minnie Mouse that UCT sent us. Haven't added them to MDE yet though, not sure why, maybe just to give me something Disney to do down the road. lol

Pins! I love me some Disney pins! I pulled out my bags of pins a few months ago and decided they shouldn't be kept all cramped up in a bag so I picked up a cork board from Wal-Mart. I plan to attach some scrap book paper to the back of it to give it a nice background but will wait till after the trip. So here are my pins.

Seemed like a lot more when they were still in the bag. lol. As you can see Chip and Dale are front and center as they are my guys!
I think my favorite is Madam Mim and Merlin though.

I am partial to my Robin Hood pins as well.

I think two of the pins are fakes. The solo Pocahontas and the Aladdin& Genie pin. They do say Disney on the back but they just don't have the same weight or feel to them.

So of course pin trading is definitely going to happen in October. Of course it can be a pricey endeavour, especially as I am unwilling to part with most of my current pins. Denovagirl had a great idea in her PTR of buying pins online to hide in her children's easter eggs(instead of chocolate) and then they have tradable pins for their trip. And then annegirl also mentioned getting a grab bag of pins from ebay to use to trade when they arrive. She got them from Four J's Ltd, after doing extensive research of good reliable sellers, so I looked them up and ended up ordering a grab bag of 20 pins! (Thank you annegirl!!) First I thought 20 was too much and then of course I worry its not enough! lol.

I'm hoping they will arrive this week and I will share pics of them, I figure I may want to keep 2-5 of them maybe and then the rest I can trade! Waahooo! And of course I will probably still end up buying a few as well.

The one pin I really really want to find is a baby Pegasus (Hercules). Doesn't matter which version although preference is just him and no text or anything. Hoping their still might be some circulating around.

Other ones I would like to find are:
Madam Mim
Robin Hood (Any and all characters)
Stitch with the Mickey Hat and the ice cream cones
Hades
Any Halloween ones they have
Disney Afternoon (Duck Tales, Tale Spin, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck)
Sebastian
And of course more Chip and Dale!

I will trade/get any pin though that I like and not just looking for the above only. I'm just keeping my eye out for them.

And do you know what else is tradable?!! Vinylmation!! I did not know this. See this is why I love other peoples PTRs I learn so much! OhioStateBuckeye mentioned it and I was all and then . So I looked into it and asked some questions. This is awesome! I was already planning on buying some but its great to know that I can trade if I don't like one I get(after making sure its not a rare one of course). I only have one vinylmation as it was a gift from a friend and he will not get traded. Since these are more $$$ then pins I will need to try and restrain myself.

My absolute must get are the Frankenstein Mickey and Minnie set .

The Goofy and Pluto matching set are pretty awesome too.

Rhinoguard from Robin Hood (I have no idea why but I love them!)

Some of them probably aren't in production anymore, not that I have looked into it, maybe I will before we leave but I know chances will probably be against me for most of these....I guess I will just have to keep going to Disney until I find them all.

Edit: So we got our April phone bill. I spent almost $20 on ADR day calling Disney since the ADR system crashed and I was calling to check on it/get an eta

It's so fun to pin trade, and to order those grab bags of pins! I almost always end up keeping a few, lol... I need to order some MORE actually! We traded like 60 pins last time, and we wished we had more, and we are going twice as long this trip!!! I want at least 150 I think, I already ordered 50, though we did pick out a few!

I really didn't think I would get excited about pin trading back when I first heard about it. So funny how I really do get so excited to see what our girls will get this time.
I hope you get good pins like I did. I am actually thinking I may get another batch of them.

I have never bought a vinylmation. I didn't know you could trade them. I am sure my girls would like those too. I may have to check them out.

Aww thanks! I love my Robin Hood pins! They just seem extra awesome to me for some reason.

Pin trading is definitely addictive and exciting, nice to just have something else to think about besides running from ride to ride too.

I found this video helpful in seeing how vinylmations get traded. Apparently there are only a few locations that do it now though. Can't wait to see if you end up trying it!

Poo to not having enough airmiles but yay for getting to use them on your flights! Whichever way saves you money for more Disney souvenirs!!

I'm learning a lot about training. I never have done something like it before so I'm probably over stressing about making sure I'm ready. I just really want to make sure I finish. I'll get more to planning the other stuff once more F&W info gets released over the next few months.

You are not over stressing the training, its great to be able to put it out there and share. Its nice for you to be able to go back over it as well. I think you are doing a great job! I wish I could find that kind of dedication to not just train but to keep track of it.
