I posted last week about my delayed response online while I was typing. I cleaned out my cache but then I had my computer guy come and he said he had to get rid of a TON of spyware on my computer. It does seem a lot better now:)
Could I have done this myself and saved $$?
Spying should be illegal

We installed, Adaware and Spybot, which are both free downloads and they zap your pop ups.

Spyware is quite a pain, and there are several programs you can use yourself to keep it under control.

WebmasterAlex has posted this thread that's stuck at the top of the Tech Support forum, with lots of information about spyware, viruses, trojans... all those unwanted visitors that cause us grief.

You'll find lots of good ideas and suggestions for ways to handle this yourself.

I just read that post by Alex and now I know why the sudden problem. I unscuscribed to MANY unwanted e-mails. It would have been a lot easier to just delete them. One of these days I'll learn in time!

My friend had told me about Spy Nuker and you pay a one time fee and then you just have to update it. It had made my computer so much faster.
