spying on guest in dvc villas

They would have gotten away with it, if it weren't for those mangy kids!

And their rotten dog! :lmao:

Seriously, if you're gonna make up a crazy story like this, at least get the color of the uniforms right. You lost me as soon as you said brown.

LOL You guys can be SO mean. I don't know what happened to the OP, but I'm willing to give a little slack. I've wondered about villa security myself in the past. I think many of us have. But it's probably no more or less of a problem than at any large hotel. A few years ago, a friend of ours left expensive jewelry in a safe in a high-end hotel. She came back from the pool - her room was clean and her jewelry was gone.

she had evidently gotten my checking account # out of my room, and was given the balance in my account by the teller. needless to say, that teller did not stay there very long and she had previously worked at another bank that i use. i don't know where she is now. one of the women who worked at the bank is related to a man who has had a promenent job at wdw for many years. i don't know if that is relevant or not, but she is no longer there either. that bank is being fazed out of my life at this time due to lack of security and confidentiality. it is pretty evident that someone got paid a little(or lot) under the table to snoop.

what this boils down to is that someone had private investigators pretending to be maids in order to spy on the guests.:(

that has never happened since, thank goodness.

This all makes perfect sense!

Do not fear - the spying is harmless.

It is merely a 3rd party private investigative agency working for DVC that is tasked with identifying potential add-on customers!;)

If you have not received a sales call from your guide regarding your potential interest in purchasing an add-on, then they have determined, based on your bank balance, that you did not fit the criteria. That is why it has not happened since!:thumbsup2

Someone should check the credit card fraud thread to see if they had any run-ins with brown-clad WDW maids...

Maybe we can get a line on this lady and SHUT HER DOWN.

lol... just kidding.

There are so many inconsistencies in this story that it lacks any type of credibility.

I am going to close this thread.

If the OP wishes to offer substantiating evidence, feel free to PM myself or any one of the other DVC board moderators.
