Well, we left BCV for Port Canaveral and arrived around 12:30. Check in was quick once we got in the terminal. The carry on screening was a little slow.
Once onboard we made Palos reservations had lunch then joined the sailing party. Afterwards we went to get ready for dinner but our luggage wasn't there yet. Got the last piece at 5 till six and we had 1st seating at Tritons at 6. Needless to say, we were late. The 4 of us were at a table for 4 which was different because on our other 2 cruises we joined another family. The food was good. After dinner we unpacked, shopped and went to wavebands for the 70's show.
The next morning we were in Nassau and it was raining. My wife and MIL went on the Historic downtown tour. I made a 2 pm Cable bech t-time and played golf. By the 6th hole the rain had stopped, which was cool. It was a nice course and my 1st under 100 score(97).
We had dinner in Animaters Palate.
The next morning we were at Castaway Cay. We went ashore, shopped, ate lunch on the adult beach then went back to the ship. We saw Disney Dreams at 3:15. Went to the Castaway Club reception, then to Parrots to join our son for dinner. The menu here has been changed and it is much better then it was the last time. At 9:00 we went to Palos and we all had filet mignon. It was terrific. We all also had the soufle. Wow is all that can be said.
We then went to Wavebands and saw a show. Then I went to the movies.
After breakfast the following morning we disembarked. I went to Cocoa Beach Country Club and got in 12 holes before we had to leave for JAX. The girls and our son went shopping.
Made the flight in Jax just in time due to an accident on 95. Flew to Atlanta...checked lost and found for our sons cd's....no luck, then boarded our BWI plane. DELAYED..2hours, couldn't get off. Arrived BWI around 11pm, then drove home.
All in all this was a good trip. It could have been warmer and not rained twice. We never had a bad meal. The crowds wern't like the millenium nye, got to play golf, went to a bowl game, were at WDW and got to take another cruise.....Heck, what could be better.....it was a great trip......spruce

It sounds like you had a great trip, but I'm not going to let my dh read this. Too much golfing! lol (He'd be in 7th Heaven if that's all he did on vacation!)

Some day we will be able to do the parks AND the cruise, but not for a few years. Our youngest child is only 1 and I don't think he'd have a very good time on a cruise. (Well, I know I wouldn't have a good time bringing him! lol)

Hope the airline finds your son's CD's and surprises you by sending them to you.

Thanks for sharing!

was that 100 for the first 6 holes LOL
