Springhill Suites @ Lake Buena Vista

Going To Springhill Suites , Lake Buena Vista at the Marriott Village in July.
Has anyone been here before ? Would love to hear your opinions and suggestions for this place.

We spent a week there last May and really enjoyed it. It was me, wife, and 3 children ages 12, 9, 6. The continental breakfast every morning was quite good and had enough variety to keep my family happy. We rented a car and could get to the parks quickly. We timed it one night and it took us 7 minutes from the time we got in our car to go from EPCOT after Illuminations to the hotel parking lot. The pool area is fairly nice and you can use the pools in the other hotels also. It is gated, so it seems to be very safe. Let me know if there are any other questions.

we stayed there a few years ago and it was nice. The free breakfast was great and the room had a small sink, fridge and micro-wave in it. They had childrens activities but we didn't use these. The pool area was nice and the whole complex seemed very clean and well maintained!

Nice, you'll enjoy it. If you get a chance, go to the pool at the Courtyard (also in the Marriott Village--right across the way). My kids really enjoyed it. There is also a food court onsite---we ordered pizza (Pizza Hut, IIRC) and ate it at the pool one evening. Have fun!

The Marriott Village just won a travel award, the best of the best in Florida. I have stayed at all 3 properties. The buffet in the morning was nice. I didn't like the room setup though. The room seemed small with the kitchen appliances and there wasn't much privacy between living area and bed.

I prefer the Courtyard or the Fairfield over the SpringHill.
