When is yours (and your location)? How about the local schools to Disneyland? Here in San Antonio they are the 1st week of March! I think that is entirely too early BUT if the rest of the nation is later then that works for us and our trip! :)

This is a good thread, I hope that more spring break people will be posting, that way, we can all get a better idea, for when it may be a better time to visit the mouse, in Ca. or WDW.

Our spring break is always the last full week of March here in Eugene Oregon. That's when we are going- it's my son't last year and he is autistic so I just don't want to pull him out. I'm actually hoping this magical year of clebrations might thin the spring break crowds a little- people seem to have birthdays all year round right ? princess:

Our is April 5-12 and we are in Northern CA. But we are going March 8-14, so I'm wondering what the crowd levels will be. DL doesn't have their calendar up for that far out, but WDW does and that is the last week of the shorter park hours. So, hopefully that's a good sign that it wont be too crowded until the middle of March.

Our spring break is March 9-13 next year. However, we are going to the other coast to see the Mouse.

We are off for Easter Break April 10th-19th.
I think the school DH teaches at is off in March.
We never get to spend the break together. :sad1:

Sounds like schools are off anywhere in March and April. Don't know if that spreads out the crowds more, or just makes it crowded longer.

Our spring break (Alaska, think most districts here are the same) is the last week of March. It would be nice to know when most people have it---last year we went the third week of March and it was really crowded!

Great, so so far the 1st week of March is looking good! :cool1:

We went March 9-11th a few years ago and it was perfect (except for the 50s we weren't prepared for coming from Hawaii at the time!).

We have it Mar. 16-22 '09 in the Phoenix area. Some schools will also have the week preceding (Mar. 9-15) as well.

We have gone to DLR on our March spring break three times in the last seven years and have seen people from AZ that we knew every time!:)

I think first week of March will be a great time for you to go. Too late for the February breaks some people have, too early for most spring breaks. Most Southern California schools won't have spring break until April.

"You can't have everything -- besides, where would you put it all?"

Our "week" of Spring Break (Mon-Fri) is officially March 30 - April 3.

We leave for Disney on March 28 (Saturday) and return April 1 (Wednesday).

That gives our son time to rest before school, plus gives DH time to rest a bit before he goes back to work (he works Sat-Wed).

Looks like we're one of the districts in NorCal to have a later Spring Break. Our Spring break is April 13-17, 2009. Hopefully, not all of San Jose will be at DL that week.

Have fun planning fellow DISer's!
