We are going to be in SoCal for spring break and are doing a weekend at DLR. We have always been Christmas visitors. What is DLR like in spring? Anything special? We will be there March 18-20.

DLR doesn't do a whole lot for Spring Break, but for the past few years they've done the Egg-stravaganza Event. Guests can purchase a map (with stickers) and then redeem the map for a small prize. Last year, they different maps for DL and DCA, but the prizes were the same. It's hard to say for sure when the event will start, but it might be happening when you're there. You can read more about it in this Disney Parks Blog post:

Otherwise, there really isn't a lot happening for Easter or Spring Break. They used to have the SpringTime Round-Up at the Big Thunder Ranch, but that area is being closed as part of the prep for Star Wars Land. They might move some of the elements elsewhere, but they haven't announced anything yet. I'd keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog to see if they announce anything.

That will be the week leading up to Easter so could be busy, depending on local school calendars. However, if you're used to going at Christmas you probably won't notice. ;)

We went 3 years a ago around those dates and are looking at going again this year. When we went last time, it was busy but with planning ( getting their early and doing popular rides then , breaks in afternoon) I found it manageable.

They had the Easter egg hunt thing when we went but it started the day before we left so we didn't bother.
