Hi Mark - I love the picture of Shadow with his toy! I promise to resist petting him. We have to put our black lab Maggie (who just turned 8 the other day) in the kennel for the week! But she just LOVES her stuff animals - the squirrel is her fave. Maggie would make a horrible service dog - way too skittish.

22 days!

Just for fun I searched DCL for our cruise and its no longe available on the website. I don't think we are sold out. Crazy! The only sail date available was Jan 16.

Discussions have been concluded and we are all IN!

OK...I've added you all to the total.

As of right now what I have (and I'll double check everything by next weekend) is:

Fish Extenders committed:
So far we have 18 Cabins.

I'll be sending the completed room list to people in PMs.
As an FYI, people who wish to send PMs need to have posted at least 10 posts on the DIS. It's an anti-spam deal. I think anyone will be able to receive the PMs though.

Hi All, we are on the Jan.30th cruise to. I would love to know about it being sold out. We got our GTY cat- 6 cabin assignment and got a metal balcony and was really hoping to change rooms. Our son who is active duty in the Air Force will be joining us so we had to book last minute - Dec. I had been tracking the cruise for months on availability and there seemed like there was plenty of room even in Dec.

The didn't not have it open for this cruise and due to son's schedule we were limited on when and where

Hi-

We'll join this thread, and will be on the cruise. Myself, my wife and two boys (9 and 5). Our firs Disney Cruise, but very excited. We 'cheaped out' and did the Cat 12 inside view. Hope we don't regret being inside, but am really exicted about the cruise, and really looking forward. Trying to learn more about the Fish Extenders, etc. Boys will be in the Oceaneers clubs, etc, a lot of the time. Hoping that will occasionally give us some 'grown up' time, too.

Arriving in Cape Canaveral the night before, from Virginia, so hopefully we can get on the ship early. What time time do they REALLY start boarding?

See you there!

Hello ALL!

We got our Docs on Friday! Sorry I did not post it then, but we went up to Michigan and had a lot of family functions going on up there. Always great to see my family.

It is getting so close to our Bon Voyage Date!! WOO! HOO!

And Welcome to the new comers on our trip...Can not wait to meet everyone soon!

Quick question, out of curiosity only - those of you with school-age kids, are you pulling them from school for the week? Or is it mid-winter break?

19 days!

Nineteen more days to go!!!!:cool1:

We received our cruise documents late last week. The small "notebook" format is really nice. I know some people have mentioned they are doing some shore excursions. I have been searching the boards for opinions and excursions to do with children. Does anyone have any good info they can share? I don't want to overbook our day but would like to maybe walk to the public beach in St. Thomas or St. Marteen? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Rae

Looks like there is cat. 4 available now - same as what it was a week ago. Hopefully they will remain and we can hope to change rooms at the port

We're taking our 3rd grader out of school for the week. Our youngest is still in pre-school. Won't be able to get away with the 'out of school' thing much longer, so we take advantage of the lower rates when we can. Too much $$$ during Summer and Winter breaks....

18 days!:cool2:

Hello All, we are so excited to be joining everyone on the Magic! We did a 4 day cruise on the wonder last year out of Port C FL. We live in Jax, FL. We loved the ship- so clean, bathrooms everywhere, everyone so nice! and the best- food by the pool- RCCL does not have that!!

traveling with me is my DH, and two lovely princesses 9 & 6. Hope to meet some of you soon!! Dont forget your refillable Beer Mugs if you have them!!

We are cruising with another family and would love to participate in the fish extender exchange. Can we join you? What should we do?

I just need a list of the age/sex (and first names which can be PMed if you don't want to post them on the open) of the people in the cabins prior to Sat. when I'm going And you should post on this thread or go to the games forum or something to post a few quick posts so your post count is up a little so you can send PMs if there's a problem.

I'll update the OP and FE list later.
