Spring Breaks for Mid April to end

Is there a thread somewhere about april spring breaks. Just wondering if anyone knows are there still alot of spring breaks mid april to the end of april?

For the most aprt, colleges should be finished with spring breaks by mid April. However, due to Passover and Easter being so far apart and Easter coming so early this year, a lot of North East schools have off for either of the last two weeks of April.

There are several threads around here for that. From what I remember, most of the northeast is off at that time. I know here in CT, most of Mass, parts of NY and parts if not all of NJ are off.

We are from Central New York and our kids are off school April 16 and return April 25

Although lots of New England (and more of the NE) has Spring Break one of the last two weeks of April, it is still far less people visiting than during college breaks, Easter and most of March thru early April.

Checked Disney's site a few times for availabilty - every resort comes up. Of course, AP rates have not been released and that might make a difference.

Think it will be festive, but not terrible. Certainly crowded since it is regular season.

We'll be there for a short 4 night visit the third week of April and am hoping it's not toooo crowded - but am expecting it to be very busy. Have much to see with an 11 & 12 yr who've not been since they were 4 & 6. Fass Pass will be a must!

Hi: Wow, thanks you guys are quick.

Now I am wondering the last two of april or the first two of may, with the new celebration I am guessing april would be a better bet even with the school breaks. Our spring break in Ontario is March 13th.

I live in NJ and part of the state have the second week off and some have the last week off.

We are going the week of 4/25, so I"m hoping it isn't too bad.

Does anyone know what the temperature is the end of April?

We're in NJ and we get off the last week in April, but I think that's not typical. My son's preschool is in a different town and they don't have the same week. My sister in NY gets the 2nd week in April - still in high season.

I think the fact that WDW switches from high to regular season during April means that most people do not have off at the very end of the month.

We're switching from our usual Presidents' week to the April week next year hoping for better weather and fewer crowds! Although this year we had NO crowds in Feb since it rained so much.

Perfect! Low to mid 80's, but not as much humidity as later in May. 60's in the evenings

I'm glad to see this thread as I have reservations both the weekend of April 15th and April 29th and don't want to be around crowds since we live locally and can go any time.

I live in northern New York and we have spring break 4/16-4/24. Most schools in our area have the same dates.

I'm also in NJ and we have off the last week of March. We don't have any time off in April.

In Naples Florida our kids have off the week prior to Easter and that's it.
