Know it'll be crazy crowded, thus less likely, but does anyone know of discounts available during the week before Easter?

The current spring offer is available the week of Easter. It says it is blacked out but if you enter your dates under the special offer link you get a discount.

We are going 3/27-4/5 and we got a $300 discount.

To answer your other question - YES is is VERY BUSY. It is considered a peak week and it is one of the busiest of the year.

We only travel peak week (teacher) so we don't mind but we also handle crowds very well. We plan everything, get up early and are at rope drop, make ADR's 180 days out, leave daily for a mid day nap. We also plan on waiting in line and don't mind .

Isn't the discount just on the tickets though? I only ask because I priced out a few different deluxe resorts both via phone and online and all resorts showed me rack racks prices even though it said "special spring offer" or something like that. But if I added tix in, then I got a small discounted final cost, so I assumed the discount was on the tix.

I actually got a AAA discount on my room for Easter -- it was only 15% but it took off $1000+ on my final cost. We don't need tix as we have AP's, so AAA discount was the best route for us. Still hoping there might be an AP discount as there are tons of empty rooms. Last Easter, they left all the rooms empty, which was good in a way because we got upgraded at both resorts, but I'd rather have a discount and more rooms filled, I think.

Hi there, how did you get the AAA discount? Did you book through Disney?

Yes, I called disney and booked a room-only AAA rate for Easter week. Both CM's I talked to said there were a lot of rooms to choose from. BC was 15% off. I didn't check any moderates or values, but some people posted CM's said AAA discount was not available for some of them. I think it may just depend on how full/empty the particular resort is and if the allotted AAA discounts are used or not.

through a travel agent that had an "exclusive offer" which turns out to be a group rate. you can PM me if you'd like contact information.
