Spring Break, late June, or late August: Which is less crowded?

I'm desperately trying to plan our next trip to DLR. I can't get on board with pulling the kids out of school, now that one of them is in Kindergarten. Not looking to debate that, for a long list of reasons. So that leave us with 3 real options for DLR travel: spring break (the week before Easter), late June, or late August (the kids go to camp in the summer and looooooove it, so I'd rather not miss any of that). Of course I don't really want to wait a full year to go back to DLR, and was hoping to get there during spring break. But if August is the least crowded time then I suppose we can go then. But really, how bad are spring break and late June? Late August?

I went this year during Spring break time, April 1-3 (weekdays), and found it to be quite manageable, much less crowded than the reports I've read on here about summer. Took advantage of FP's and went on everything more than once, went on Space and POTC 5 times a piece, and walking around was quite easy, not overly crowded at all.

I have been all three of those times this year and for me it was late August without a doubt and will go again next year. June I will only go the first couple weeks that was the easiest laid back time we have been so far in June, late June this year was way too busy for my liking. July no way spring break we will go again but only because we spend the whole week there and have cheerleading comps. August was crowded but not unmanageable at all. The mornings were the best, around 11am you could notice it picking up, by 2 it was time for a break and we would return around 6 and use all our FPs.
In s nutshell I vote for late August

I've read posts on my own thread about late June being the most busy part of the year, with CRAZY crowds. I'd also suggest (as many have done to me) to see when the AP black out dates are and try to go then. HTH!

Yes, in very late June (last few days). However, the week before that = insane crowds.

Out of those three, definitely late August has the least amount of crowds.

I have found late june AFTER THE SO CAL AP'S ARE BLOCKED OUT. The week of 21-27 After the cheapest So Cal ap's were blocked out but not before the second level of so cal ap's. We did not have an AP issue. It was quite nice and I would do it again.
(done it 2x and both years was very pleasant)
