Sorry this is a bit off topic. We are from Ohio and want to head south for spring break, but we can't tolerate the crowds at WDW that time of year. Can anyone recommend a really nice campground with a nice pool and hopefully a waterslide in the area of FL, SC, GA, in that area? Thanks.

We go to WDW every year at spring break time ( see signature ) because that is the time our youngest son can go. ( '07 may be the last year as he is a senior in high school this year ) You will find that no matter what time of year you go to FW, even when it is full, the atmosphere is very laid back and peaceful, it never feels crowded. Of course that is not true of the parks, but we don't always go into the parks every year. Also, it maybe too late to get a spring break reservation in the Orlando area, for '07. The Ocala Ranch RV is very nice, we stayed there in '05 on our way to FW. http://www.ocalaranchrv.com/

South FL: Encore Resort in Venice, FL the resort is ok targeted mostly for snowbirds but we stayed there so we could go to Siesta Key Beach.

NW FL: Topsail Hill State Park. Pool is average but the 3 mile PRIVATE beach is awesome! It may still be a little cool in March but you didn't say which month you get spring break. Destin (and Panama City are nearby) so there would be water parks, miniature golf, etc.
