Spring Break and FP+

Just back from Disney. We were there 4/11 thru 4/19 some thoughts of our trips.

We rate FP+ a 9, With it being Spring Break and Easter week we thought it might be worse than past visits during Easter..Wrong it was among the best.

We thought FP+ was awesome, We only used it at night. During the days we arrived at parks at 9am each day so lines were low and no need to waste a FP+ for 10-30 min waits..Only times all week we had to wait more than 40 min for any rides were Sorian,TSMM and Test Track as we chose to ride those a second time in the am or chose to ride at night w/o FP+. Rest of the parks were great. We loved being able to adjust our FP+ picks and times on the fly if we found our FP time was near and lines for stand by were low.

Also not sure if all the FP+ are effecting the wait times on the apps..Many times we saw 40-60 min waits on some rides and still went on and lines were just 20 min at times..Splash Mountain once posted 75 minutes..We were on in 25...Everest posted 60..took 30.

Only thing I wish they would have as a option for FP+ for a way off of Main Street after Wishes Fireworks..What a mess that was near the Castle every night were watched it.

We just returned home today also and I too loved FP+ there are a few things that I would like to see change but overall it was great.It was certainly crowded as expected but got to parks each morning before opening helped alot! But some of the lines and wait times we saw were indeed long for some rides we just chose to skip them but still had a wonderful time. Longest wait we had for FP+ was 10 minutes. Glad you had a great trip!

And yes it was definately a mad house after Wishes and trying to exit park luckily we watched from the area beside the back exit that they opened to avoid being stuck in the grid lock of Main Street.We were gonna try to stay to see the parade but you could not move so we turned around and used the back exit,the kids were exhausted anyway so we were fine with leaving and skipping the parade.
