I searched, and was surprised not to see anything about this (but the search here is always a little funky). When are most folks in So Cal on Spring Break? Our break in Oregon is the last week in March-was trying to decide if I should try and talk my husband into a quick road trip :)

I'm also in Oregon and we are road tripping it down for our Spring Break.

AFter a little google search I found out that the "los angeles unified school dist" is on break the first week of April as is San Diego unified.

Of course there are many other school districts in SoCal....but at least that is some ifno.

Thanks, ,skiingfast. I wonder if they didn't show up in my search for spring break because of the period immediately after the word break in both your thread titles?

The data is a little challenging to parse, though it does give me an overall picture. I'll have to google around a bit to find more specific info-for instance, although it's relevant that my school in Oregon breaks the last week in March, that won't affect attendance as much as when schools go on break nearer to the park, I'd guess.

Just checked touring plans...they rate that week as crowds being a 9 or 10 out of 10. Crap.

You are probably just as relevant as the family's house down the street from the parks.

Just because someone lives in Anaheim doesn't mean they are more likely to visit during Spring Break. It's the familys that take time off for vacation that make it a busy period no matter where ever they are from. They are the ones who fill the parks over the Holiday and vacation periods.

Also the local have two properties that make them less of an impact over Spring Break, if they go to the parks a lot, they have APs which aren't good over most of thier Spring Breaks. They visit for 1 or two days, where someone coming from further is likely to come for more days and have a higher impact on crowding.
