I am so ready! It is freezing in ChiTown and feeling that tropical sun will do wonders for my Vitamen D that I am sorely lacking right now!

I tried to google "resort" clothes the other day but got nothin good yet. I guess we need to wait another month.

Hi there! Currently we have 32 families, 58 adults, 28 DD's and 19 DS's! Looks like a great group. We would love you to join. I'm thinking that we will stop taking names after Mid February but I don't think I could turn someone down if they wanted in! It's all about the magic right!

We ordered our FE's from gradysmom on Ebay. She is really good and pretty reasonable. You are basically paying for someone's time who knows what they are doing so you don't need to figure it out. I am not at all crafty so for me it was money worth spending!

Count us in! I bought stuff to make a fish extender - wish me luck! Now I need to get in gear and figure out the gifts!

We are DH - David, DW - Connie (me and we'll be celebrating or finally accepting the fact we just turned 50!), DS - Erik (15) and DD - Kate (10). We are in 6590.

Ok, had MeanQueen and clubfig over for craft night. Making those FE gifts, it really gets me jazzed for the cruise!! I am counting the days. I got a pair of new shoes that I LOVE, and now I have to find the right dress to go with them!! Does anyone else shop backwards like that?

Maybe next time we'll get more done. I'm glad we're starting early with so many people in this FE group. I'm very excited to see what everyone does for the exchange. The creativity of some people (like Mel) amazes me.

Fish Extender made! I got some children FE gifts today but I'm still thinking what I want to do for a "family" or adult type gift(s). This will be fun! Hubby even got into cruise prep mode tonight by getting our RT shuttle rides from home to airport all reserved -- woo hoo! Having Super Shuttle all set up is a good thing! For our last cruise I thought, no biggie, just order a cab the day before -- almost an oh, oh! I eventually found a cab company that had availability! Whew!

We are getting so excited. We're working our our FE gifts, have all our hotels and car rentals pre and post cruise taken care of and started looking at spring clothes for the kids (and myself) today. We've had a great time looking at all of the pictures of the Dream. We also listened to the Dis Unplugged podcast about the dream today. Can't wait!!! It looks and sounds sooo beautiful! We're expecting a high of -2 here in Denver tomorrow, looking forward to someplace warm and sunny!!!!

We are here in sunny FL, I wish I could send the sunshine up your way!! Keep bundled up, and think of the cruise coming up, it will be spectacular!! Stay safe for everyone in the winter storm path! We got about 7" more of snow yesterday in Mpls. and we don't need ANY more snow here so I'm glad we aren't getting this latest one. My commute was 90 min. yesterday morning and 60 min. on the way home - thanks snow, you make me think of the cruise all the more! Today I worked from home so I had an excellent commute but it is getting really cold outside or so I hear.

We are in the midst of the blizzard here in Missouri. Freezing rain all day yesterday turned into a whiteout with 20 inches of snow outside my door today (and it's STILL snowing). This on top of 9 inches from last weekend---I am SO looking forward to getting on board and heading into warm tropical waters!!! At this rate I'll still be shoveling come time for the cruise.

We're family of five. DH, me, DS (13), DD (11), DD (7). Don't know anything about this FE thing. Can someone tell me where to to get info. what does it look like and how do you make one. I'm a scrapbooker so I can be crafty, just need more info. a picture would be great. Thanks.

I am trying to register online, and it is aggravating because we are doing the back to back cruises, and we have 2 cabins each cruise, so I have to register 4 times. The problem is you have to wait in between different reservations, some people say 20 minutes in between. GRRR...
I registered for the first one, waited until it would take the 2nd one. Got my DD registered for the kids club, but it wouldn't let me go any further with the online check in. What a pain!!
Also, does everyone know that now they are having you sign up for specific times to get to port? I just found this out today thanks to the boards, but I might be late getting registered, I tend to procrastinate a little bit.
If any of you serial cruisers have any tips for me I would appreciate it! Have a wonderful day!!

Regarding the time slot to arrive at port - I filled out all my check-in docs and didn't see anything regarding that...if they changed it, that is on them. I still will show up when I planned to.

The fact that they changed the process after I did mine four weeks ago is not my fault. I am not going to wait until 2:00 to check in (which is the earliest available time slot now). Luckily I have my docs all printed out prior to the change

I didn't complete my check in and even though I've seen mention of this new time slot thing, I still didn't go in and check in. Now, you say the earliest check in is 2pm?

Too bad DCL, I'll pick that because you are forcing me to, but I'm going to show up when my shuttle gets there, regardless of what time I'm forced to pick.

I haven't heard any reports from folks who are checking in this week. Most likely they had already completed everything before the changes were implemented.

Just had a thought. What if I choose to just do my paperwork at the port. Wonder what my booklet is going to tell me about this assigned time?
