Spring Break 2005

It seems everybody is combining Spring Break week next year with Easter!
WE wanted to go to Disney over our spring break, but how
crowded is Easter?
We are going July this year,
will the crowds be about the same?
then we might know if we still want to go.

NH has the last week in Feb and the last week in April. Mass, and the surrounding states typically have the each of the weeks before those. So New England is not on vacation during the worst of that. THe rest of the country probably is though, with a few exceptions.
Easter is rough. HUGE crowds. In 2000 we were there for Easter and saw a 3 hour wait for Splash Mountain. At all the popular rides, they were out of fast passes by 11ish. On the other hand, the parks were open really late, and the crowds thinned dramatically just after dinner. So Easter has its plusses and minuses.

Most of the schools in this area have the week after Easter off. We traditionally have the last week of March as our spring break so they are just combining the two. I wish we had more time at a non-peak time -- we were looking at a cruise and the prices are out of this world!!
